From 1 to 4 February 2016 will take place the Apimondia Symposium on Indigenous bee species in Los Baños, Philippines. 

The objective of the Symposium is to gather, exchange and disseminate new information on bee sciences and technology around the world and more in specific:

Present information on advancements in the field of pollination, bee biology, beekeeping extension and economy, and bee product development

Conduct a workshop on mass production of stingless bees and hive product processing

Generate resources and information to support the project INSPIRE (Initiative to sustain and protect indigenous bee species to restore ecosystem services)

During the Symposium, an exhibition will take place and workshops will be organized.
